With a balanced and smooth graphite core that is softer than the graphite found in the Blackwing 602, but firmer than the graphite found in the Blackwing, the Pearl is a happy medium that delivers strong, dark lines with scope for more subtle shading. The Pearl Blue gives this beloved pencil a cool, calming feel that pairs beautifully with the matching Pearl Pink Pencils.
