I can't believe that no one has raved about this book. It focuses exclusively on Diebenkorn's drawings - unlike another book that promises drawings, but only delivers his paintings.This book will open your eyes to what drawing can and should be. It should be required for every art student.Diebenkorn's sketching style is edgy, and fresh. He doesn't show off with fancy, over-embellished linework. Just simple scratchy stuff that emanates from the soul of the subject. I love this guy.
